My husband and I live in a
little house in West L.A. and our landlord, Steve, lives in the house next
door. He's in his 70's and to describe him as a grumpy old man would be
an understatement. Since we moved into our little house in May, Steve
has sent us a number of emails that are increasingly offensive, strange,
and hilarious all at the same time. Instead of taking these emails
personally (which I'm still working on), we've shared them with friends
whose responses have made us laugh and helped to keep Steve's insanity in
perspective. Since they were so enjoyed, we decided to memorialize them in a blog.
Note: this collection of email represents a complete list of Steve emails and are presented exactly as received (except to protect privacy); however, the posts have been backdated to when they were originally sent.
